How Many Chemicals Are You Wearing???

What's in your products??? How Many Chemicals Are You Wearing Right Now??

Did you know it only takes 26 seconds for your products to soak into your bloodstream.
I challenge you take a few minutes to do a little research on your favorite cosmetic products, go to the manufactures website and take a look at the list of ingredients. Does your eyeshadow, concealer or blusher use Talc? How about anything that ends with the word "paraben"? If they do you may want to throw them in the trash where they belong....Here is why:

What are Parabens?
Parabens are used as a preservative in many cosmetics. According to safecosmetics.org " Parabens are a group of compounds widely used as anti-microbial preservatives in food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics products, including underarm deodorants. Parabens are absorbed through intact skin and through the gastrointestinal tract and blood. U.K. researchers found measurable concentrations of six different parabens in 20 human breast tumors. The study highlights the need for more research on the potential link between products containing parabens and increased breast cancer risk. All Younique Products are Paraben Free! MAC and Mary Kay....Not so Much!

What about Talc?
Talc is commonly used in loose powders, blushes and eye shadows, in fact some use up to 50% talc because it is a cheap filler. The bad part is not that you are spending good money on cheap filler (Ok that is frustrating) the bad part is that talc has been linked to respiratory damage with long-term use.

All Younique Products are Talc Free! Youngblood, MAC, and Mary Kay can not say the same!

So that leaves Younique and Bare Minerals brands. Both are:

Use Pure Minerals
All-Natural
Paraben Free
Talc or Starch Free
Preservative Free
Oil Free
Now that we know the Quality of your cosmetics lets look at the quantity Vs Price!
This comparison uses Eye Shadows:
Younique you get 5 gm for $10 each or 4 for $35 or 10 for $85
Bare Minerals you get .57 gm for $14......you saw that right .57 gm! You do not even get 1 full gm with Bare Minerals!
Lets break that down by the gram
Younique is $1.50 - $2.00 per gram (depending on which set you buy)
Bare Minerals is (prepare yourself) $24.56 per gram! OUCH!
If you use one of the cosmetics used in this comparison you owe it to yourself, you health, and your wallet to try Younique Products!
