You might be a fan of dotting your concealer only in the spots you need it, but the best way to wear it is in a triangular formation under your eye. "Paint" the base of the triangle directly under your lash line with the point ending in the middle of your cheek. Blend the makeup using your (clean!) fingertips or a makeup sponge. This shape helps conceal any redness at the bottom and sides of your eye, and also creates the illusion that your face is lifted, since the brightest point is the most intense under your eye.
